Doll Sweet announces new head sculpts

Doll Sweet has been quite busy in the past weeks and announced three new head sculpts: A cartoon head, a closed eyes head with oral capabilities, and another head for the 145 cm line of Doll Sweet dolls.

The Cartoon head is designed in Anime/Manga style and offers some rather unusual features. This head comes with huge eyes (33 mm diameter) and has a closed mouth. It features a new type of wig that is made of silicone and comes in different styles and color.

While preparing the Unboxing Maidlee Doll Maid-Fong and Introducing Maidlee Doll Maid-Fong posts for TDF, I continously compared details of Maid-Fong with other dolls. I found it quite enlightening to have different dolls from different brands side by side. Doing a comparative review of several dolls would be outside the scope of a forum post, but I'll try to narrow it down a bit and just have a look at several heads from different manufacturers.

In this post I'll have a look at the following four heads:

  • Maid-Fong (Maidlee Doll) - 157 cm doll; silicone
  • Sandy (DS Doll) - 158, 160, 161, and 168 doll; silicone

Dollstock: Getting dolls from stock

Almost all of our dolls are made-to-order products. The advantage of this approach is that the dolls are available in numerous different variants. But this also results in lead times ranging between about ten days and six weeks, until the doll is completed; an additional delay is caused by shipping the doll from China to Germany - that's necessary because all our dolls include import fees and we ship by default from Germany.

Starting immediately, we are offering a small stock with selected producs as an experiment. Available from stock is a limited choice of customization options - the options that are currently in stock, or: the dolls are preconfigured. In exchange, the annoying waiting time for the production flow is completely eliminated. All dolls from stock are packaged as new and unused products. The dolls are offered at the same terms as the individualized made-to-order dolls.
